ABOUT ME
MY STORYI recall being in an art class when I was a young girl. It was pre-k I believe. The art teacher pulled my mom and me aside for a moment. The teacher was impressed and shocked that someone so young had the capability and understanding to make such detailed work ahead of the usual child development.
I always thought it was a silly compliment. I at the time did not find my art impressive by any means. Shortly after, my mom signed me up for various classes. I thought they were very fun to engage with. I felt proud of what I made with my hands.

My name is Hannah, but my loved ones call me Han.
I have been a creative all my life. The most important person in my life (my mother) has pushed me year after year to embrace and run with my passion for art.
Earlier last year, she was diagnosed with terminal, stage 4 lung cancer. There are many reasons I do art; but the most powerful reason is to make my mother proud.
My mom has affirmed my talents and skills all my life. Mom, all of this is for you.
I am Han.
I am a fighter and a survivor of many challenges of life. I am driven to create for so many reasons. Those challenges I have faced in my lifetime are the reason I gravitated back into the creative world.
I call this website BadArtbyHan because historically I have been too harsh on the work I have produced. Take me how I am, and take my work as is.
Love it or hate it; this is me and I will always be authentic to that.
